Requirements:
BS/BA required
Specific expert knowledge in security master file processing for a variety of security types, (bonds, fixed income, etc.) both domestic and international. Experience with market data vendor products. Understanding of the implications of security master information on securities processing. (Bond prices, settlement dates, payments)
** At least 5 years related experience in the financial services industry
** Some understanding of fund accounting operations
** Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
** Willingness to ask questions and think creatively
** Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational skills
** Project management experience
** Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of tasks
** Ability to lead discussions of complex topics
** Ability and interest in understanding systems design
** Knowledge of the Eagle STAR system or another mutual fund accounting system a plus

Responsibilities:
** Work with internal groups; CSG, FAS, Fund Administration, Information Management and Global Admin Product business users to understand and prioritize business requirements for new functionality requests.
** Work with developers on functional design and preparation of functional specifications.
** Drive functional development by fully understanding business needs and translating them into system design. Manage process of documenting and communicating functional solutions.
** Take ownership of security reference processing in STAR accounting system by continuing to increase expert business knowledge and understanding of system design.
